DER Reisebüro Will Become DERTOUR Reisebüro

travel agencies get a new branding – next step in the leading brand strategy

DER Touristik is taking the next step in its leading brand strategy: At the turn of the year, DERTOUR Reisebüro will replace the former DER Reisebüro brand.

“The continuation of our travel agencies under the DERTOUR name is the next logical step for a uniform brand presentation at all contact points, towards an integrated tourism brand”, highlights Ingo Burmester, CEO DER Touristik Central Europe. The travel agency chain is benefiting from the prominence and positive perception of the DERTOUR brand. “Strong brands build trust”, Burmester is convinced of this. “Joint campaigns and joint marketing enable us to make best possible use of synergies and thus offer customers important guidance.”

The transition of the 400 branches across Germany is expected to be completed by late January 2022. In future, the offices can be found online at www.dertour-reisebü

Aim: Market Leaders for Sustainable Tourism in Europe

The DER Touristik Group and DSR Holding, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Seereederei, are joining forces. To do so, DR Hospitality GmbH & Co KG with headquarters in Hamburg and Rostock was founded founded as a joint venture, in which both companies each hold a 50 per cent share. The aim of the merger is to become a Europe-wide market leader in environmentally friendly and sustainable tourism with the A-Rosa, Resorts & Hideaways, aja and Henri Hotels brands. The new company will be represented by Sören Hartmann, CEO DER Touristik Group, and board member of REWE Group, as well as Horst Rahe, managing partner of Deutsche Seereederei. The newly founded DR Hospitality GmbH & Co. KG will initially be responsible for the operation and marketing of 16 hotels and resorts under the A-ROSA, aja, Henri Hotels, Louis C.
